Constructing a pile wall
A distinction is made between the following types
- secant pile wall
- tangent pile wall
- contiguous pile wall without intermediate arch
- contiguous pile wall with intermediate arch
Producing a template
Polystyrene blanks are lined up and cast in concrete. The template ensures a uniform start of drilling for the primary and secondary piles. The polystyrene core is drilled out later in the process.
Drilling of the primary piles
Align the drill string over the template and drill the primary piles. Concrete the pile while withdrawing the drill string. Empty the drill string after each drilling and concreting cycle.
Drilling of the secondary piles
Align the drill string over the template and drill the secondary piles. Concrete the pile while withdrawing the drill string. Empty the drill string after each drilling and concreting cycle. Place the reinforcement in the freshly concreted pile.
